A structure fire, which happened last week on Texas 75, is now under investigation by the Fairfield fire department. The building – which no one was living in – was not fully involved and it may have started in one room.

Fairfield Fire Chief Matt Foree said the departments prepared an aggressive offensive battle and achieved knock down. Aiding the department with operations and water supply were Teague, Dew, and Butler. “The area is treated as a crime scene at this point,” said Foree.
