Style Show Tuesday

Freestone Cancer Support Group (FCSG) members Diana Lewis, Janet Bulger, and Jeannette Cornett are pictured with Bobby and Tracy Lewis, owners of Ridge Creek Services LLC, who donated $500 to the event.

Doors open at the annual Fall Style Show & Dinner at 6 p.m. for attendees to do a little shopping before the 6:30 p.m. meal. This annual event will be held at the Depot X in Fairfield this year and is one of the main fundraisers for the Freestone Cancer Support Group. Local boutiques modeling this year are:

CNB donates to FCSG event

Community National Bank of Fairfield donated to the upcoming Freestone Cancer Support Group’s Fall Style Show slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Depot X in Fairfield. Pink Out 2018

Despite the Eagles loss, this year's Pink Out event was a success with varsity cheerleaders raising $4,000 for the Freestone Cancer Support Group. The team gave the donation check to FCSG members during last week's Pink Out Pep Rally.

Carter Enterprises donates to FCSG

Carter Enterprises last week donated to the upcoming Fall Style Show, sponsored by the Freestone Cancer Support Group. The Style Show is slated for Tuesday, Oct. 30, at the Depot X. Pizza Hut employees are Christian Stanley, Ricardo Ramirez, Vicki Lane, Arlie Jones, Hillary Diaz, Jose Tula, and Manager Luis Vera pictured with FCSG members Jeannette Cornett, Diana Lewis, and Janet Bulger. FCSG members also accepted a donation from Texas Burger employees Melissa Zuniga, Manager Constance Alexander, and Stacey Vaughn.

Local businesses donate to FCSG Style Show

The two pictured businesses each donated $500 to the upcoming Freestone Cancer Support Group's Spring Style Show, slated for 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 24, at Twisted Vines Event Center in Fairfield. Freestone Cancer Support Group members are pictured accepting the donation from Citizens State Bank in Teague and Equipment Services Company of Streetman. Style Show raises $5K

Miss Teen Freestone County Morgan Coleman, Brighton Bulger, and Miss Freestone County Peyton Daniel each modeled a variety of fashions from local boutiques at the Style Show.

The Freestone Cancer Support Group's Fall Style Show raised about $5,500 on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at Depot X. Luminant and Community National Bank were the main sponsors. Providing models for their fashions were:

Style Show Oct. 17

Doors open at the annual style show at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, at the Depot X. Pink Out for October

The staff of Farmers State Bank in Fairfield showed their support of finding a cure for breast cancer with the annual Pink Out shirts. The T-shirts are sold by Freestone Cancer Support Group as a fundraising effort to help cancer patients in this county. Pink Out Day is slated for Oct. 20, and shows solidarity in the face of this disease.

Style Show April 25

Tickets are available now for the upcoming Style Show, sponsored by the Freestone Cancer Support Group (FCSG). Clothing from 11 boutiques will be modeled, including Peacocks and Ponys, Maggie Grace Boutique, and Native Soul. Doors open for the show at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 25, at the Calvary Baptist Family Life Center.

Tickets are $15. Other styles will be modeled by:

Donations given to area fire departments, non-profit

Calpine Freestone Energy Center handed out donation checks last week to two area non-profits. Freestone Cancer Support Group (FCSG) received $500 from the corporation, while Southern Oaks Volunteer Fire Department (SOVFD) was also given a $500 check.
