Cotton Gin honors mason

Cotton Gin Lodge member Fred Carter was honored with a Golden Trowel Award by Cotton Gin Lodge No. 154 during the regular meeting Monday, Feb. 19. This award is presented to those masons who show dedication and hard work to the lodge and masonry overall. Carter has assisted and helped many lodges around the area with building projects and fundraising efforts. He donates much of his time for lodge repairs and assists wherever he is needed. He is a 25 year mason and works hard for Cotton Gin Lodge, giving himself unselfishly.
