Joy Parker passed peacefully from this life on the morning of Nov. 21, in her home, surrounded by her family. Joy was born in Eustace, Texas, on May 24th, 1922. Joy was a proud member of the NSDAR (National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution) Lady Washington Chapter 6-056-TX. She was an avid book reader and world traveler, seeing all the world had to offer from Broadway plays in New York to an exhilarating helicopter ride over the

Fraser Pensini, grandson of Burt and Janie Richards of Fairfield, recently represented Australia in the 2018 Under 23 World Rowing Championships in Poznan, Poland July 25-29. Fraser occupied the bow seat in the Men’s Coxed Four that earned a place in the A Final finishing sixth in the world. Fraser was introduced to rowing in high school, which he continued while attending university. Inspired by the Australian Rowing team in the 2012 London Olympics, Fraser set his sights on one day rowing for Australia. Fraser completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Western Australia in Perth in 2017. Fraser took 2018 off to concentrate on rowing which proved extremely fruitful. He plans to begin studying medicine in 2019 in Perth to fulfil his dream of becoming a rural doctor.
