Incommons Bank gets Spirit of Freestone

Finalist named for Fairfield ISD superintendent

Rick Edwards, of Kennedale ISD, was named the lone finalist for Fairfield Independent School District (FISD) superintendent June 6.
Edwards is slated to replace former Superintendent Dr. Katie Ryan who left the district November 1 to become deputy superintendent of curriculum and instruction for Copperas Cove ISD.

County fair begins Monday

The carnival begins at 6 p.m. Monday, June 16. It will be open from 6 to 12 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Streetman’s refuse site gets busier
