Big cats being caught on Richland Chambers

The fall season has been GREAT for catching catfish on RC and if history holds true, we'll do even better as the winter season arrives! While the large majority of fish caught so far have been "eaters" or cats in the 1 to 3 pound range, we've also had a fair number of BIG ONES. On Monday of this past week, Rick from Killeen caught the largest one so far this Season at an estimated 50 pounds! We don't specifically target the BIG CATS, but almost every trip during the cooler months someone will hook a big one and then the battle is on! Sometimes the fish get hung up in the timber we're fishing around and sometime the line just breaks during the fight, but every once in a while, the customer lands the fish of their life! After a picture or two to save the memory, the fish are released to fight again. Fish in the "slot" of 30 to 45 inches have to be released on RC, and the truth is
