Eagles lose in Round 2 to Gilmer

After a final loss of 24-14 in Round 2 of the District 4A playoffs against the Gilmer Buckeyes, the Fairfield Eagles are moving on to other things. Next season the Eagles will lose almost half of their teammates when the 2018 seniors graduate in May.

“We will lose 24 seniors, all of which invested a lot for Fairfield,” said Head Coach John Bachtel. “And I hope that the sophomores and juniors have learned from watching them prepare for practice and play in games.
