The graduating class of 1958 celebrated the 60th anniversary of its graduation on April 7. The group met for lunch at Sam’s Restaurant in Fairfield, and traveled out to Chambers Creek Reservoir to the lake house of Mary Jane Alexander’s great-niece.

There they spent an afternoon of coffee and conversation. Attending classmates included Joe Neal Baker; Jeanette (Davis) LaFrentz and husband, Ralph; Preston Bonner; Mary Jane (Anderson) Alexander and husband, Phil; Buddy Aultman and wife, Jeanette; Emma Jean (Ivy) Vande Streek and husband, Wayne; June (Bray) Slagle and husband, Peter; Felicia (Speed) Lemons with sister, Margie (Speed) Carrigan; and Wanda (York) Sanders and husband, John Sanders, both from our class.

Paul Burkhart, his wife, Carol, and mother, Mrs. Mildred Burkhart – the last surviving mother of a class member – also attended the event.
