Remaining clerks to be trained for Nov. elections

Despite being short two employees, recently re-elected County Clerk Linda Jarvis is confident about the upcoming May runoff election. Jarvis said Chief Deputy Dianne Manning and Elections Clerk Crystal Rossiaky are no longer with her office, but the remaining employees will be trained – and cross trained – in the elections process and other office procedures. Previously, Jarvis handled the elections until turning it over to Rossiaky and Manning. Jarvis said all clerks in her office will learn the election process and one will be named elections clerk. Jarvis and that clerk will also attend Elections School this summer, a state-mandated course. Commissioner's recently approved an order of poll books for the November election and the entire staff will be trained in their usage. The runoff election is slated for May 22 for the following candidates:
