The Angelic Hosts came for Frank McMillian on Tuesday, March 13, in Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia, among loving family and devoted friends. A viewing will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 23, with the family present from 6 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, March 24, in the Moore’s Angelic Funeral Chapel with Pastor Earl Bell officiating and Elder Billy Jackson, Eulogist. Interment will be in the Antioch Cemetery, North 1st Street in Teague. Mr. McMillian was the second child born to Van and Sallie McMillian in Orville, Alabama. He grew up in Hazard, Kentucky where he attended the public schools. He and his wife, Frances, were married in Bloomerville, Kentucky in 1961 and they were the parents of two children: Frank Jeffery McMillian and Chrystal McMillian. Frank and Choicey were married on March 24, 1984, in Teague. Frank enlisted in the U.S. Army in April 1955 and served in the Medical Corps until he was honorably discharged in 1957. He served three years in the Army Reserves. Frank was a graduate of the Kentucky School of Embalming and worked as a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in Kentucky as well as Lotts Mortuary in Dallas, Dorsey & Keatts Funeral Home in Mexia, Community Funeral Home and Emanuel Funeral Home in Teague. He was the first funeral director in charge of Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home in Teague. Mr. McMillian was a faithful member of the St. Paul Church Of God In Christ in Teague where he served as Sunday School Superintendent, Deacon, and Trustee.
