Jack Ezell

After a five hour tour of NASA in Houston, Jack Ezell has been interested in space exploration. The Fairfield junior was recently honored by being accepted as part of the Texas High School Aerospace Scholars Program – a first in the history of Fairfield High School.

“I didn't realize I was the first student from FHS to be chosen for the program until Mr. Price said it the other night,” said Ezell. “I'm very honored to have been selected, and I will do my best to make FHS proud.”

This program caters to youth with specialized interest as an interactive online learning experience ending with an all-expenses-paid, week-long visit to NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston next summer.

Although exact plans haven't been made available, Ezell will join other like-minded students to plan a mission to Mars and work with NASA astronauts.
