Sexual assault trial begins

Jury selection began Monday this week in the trial of a Teague man accused of sexually assaulting his young granddaughter. Defendant James Minefee, 64, is being represented by Groesbeck attorney David Moore. Testimony and opening arguments began Tuesday morning in the 87th District Court of Judge Deborah Oakes Evans.
