The Fairfield High School Fall Production will be "Treasure Island" by Robert Louis Stevenson, adapted by Joseph George Caruso. The Drama Club will perform Saturday, November 11 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, November 12 at 2:00 p.m. “Acting has always been a passion for me, and the group we have this year is a special one,” sophomore Emma Copeland said. “I’m super stoked for the play.”
Directors Jeff Wright and Susan Walsh work with the actors during rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays directly after school until 6:30 p.m. “Señor and Mrs. Walsh really matched our personalities to the roles we were put in,” senior Kaitlyn Neidich said. “Their hard work is what will make this play great.” This adaptation of Treasure Island is a comedy and tells the story of pirates, mutiny, and buried treasure. “I don’t believe this play would be as funny as it is without this cast,” junior Jack Ezell said. “We will have the audience rolling.” Actors and actresses for the fall production are required to be members of the drama club. The cast includes seniors Kaitlyn Neidich and Jamesha Hatcher, juniors Jack Ezell, Anna Kaye Williams, Preston Long, and Suhani Patel, sophomores Kayla Grecu, Kourtney Mensch, Erin Rachel, Devin Johnson, Emma Copeland, and Paula Zwicker, and freshmen Kayden Salinas, Meredith Awalt, and Michelle Muniz.
