Fairfield junior high students were rejoicing Monday morning when an unexpected power outage allowed them an early release at 12 p.m. The power was reportedly down in one half of the building, while the other half worked.
“The power is expected to be out for most of the day,” said FJH Principal Bryan Gawryszewski in a mass email sent to parents. The power outage only effected the junior high campus, but phone lines were down throughout the district, as well.
