Breaking ground on new pantry

By mid-February a new food pantry will bless the residents of Freestone County. River of Life Pastor Robert Smith held a groundbreaking with the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce Monday on the 7,500 square foot building site. The church recently sold their downtown building. Kent Trucking is laying the dirt work and foundation, while S&S Construction is in charge of the construction.
