Corsicana – Community National Bank & Trust announced that it is sending nine teachers to the Jump$tart National Educator Conference (#JSNEC16) in November, including a 3-day stay at the Dallas Intercontinental Hotel in Addison. The conference aims to provide teachers with the tools, training, encouragement and experience to educate PreK-12 students in personal finance. “We are very excited to send Bryant Smith from Fairfield ISD to the conference,” said Teresa Duke, VP/Loan Officer. “This is a great opportunity to send a teacher from our community to learn more about financial literacy and then implement it back into the classroom.” The national Jump$tart Coalition is presenting its 8th annual conference, which gives attendees the opportunity to see, learn about, and try educational resources to integrate immediately into current lesson plans in addition to networking with colleagues from across the country.
