Buyers shell out more than $300K at sale

Area businesses turned out to buy animals at the annual livestock sale Saturday with purchases totaling over $300,000. GDR Holdings was named the biggest buyer of the event and was awarded the Volume Buyer Buckle by sale committee members. The company's purchases totaled over $26,000 alone.
The Best In-County Steer buckle was given to Blake Looney, while Mallorie Simms received the Best Rate of Gain buckle.
