FHS brings home #1 win in Academic UIL events

Fairfield High School has been named the District Academic champion once again after UIL recent competitions. FHS has taken this title for the past 25 of 26 years. Fairfield Academic Regional competitors will travel to Huntsville to compete at Sam Houston State University Saturday, April 23.

  • n Computer Applications – Lexi Coffman, first; Nathan Davis, second; Victoria Donohoo, third
  • n Computer Science – Nihar Patel, first; Rowan Prihoda, third; Will Cook, fourth; Ryan Wehe, sixth
  • n Editorial Writing – Gracie Awalt, first; Brittani Oglesbee, second; Lauren Moore, third
  • n Feature Writing – Gracie Awalt, first; Jane Turchi, second; Kaytlyn Brewer, fifth; Kaytlyn Brewer
  • n Headline Writing – Gracie Awalt, first; Anna Kaye Williams, third; Abby Knight, fourth
