Tax Aide group offers extended hours until April 14

The Tax Aide group has been providing free federal income tax preparation services to area residents for the second year in a row. Taxpayers from Palestine, Teague, Jewett, Buffalo, Fairfield and surrounding areas have enjoyed free tax preparation and free same day e-filing. Tax Aide encourages
area residents of all ages to have their returns prepared each Thursday through April 14, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church, 201 North Mount St. in Fairfield.
