Eagles strike quick in win over Palestine

The Fairfield Eagles flew out to a fast start against Palestine Friday night and never looked back while beating the Wildcats 16-1 to end the first round of district play.
The Eagles scored quickly to open the game as the first six players crossed home plate in the first inning.
Colby Minze opened the game with a single.
Caleb Scires drove him home with his second home run in consecutive games.
Chance Carroll with hit by a pitch and moved to third on a double off the wall by Luke Rachel.
