FEMA assesses flood damage

Freestone County had between $400,000 and $500,000 damages from the October flash floods while Fairfield is showing about $150,000 in damages.
Those estimates were obtained as part of the county and city’s efforts to gain Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) grant money for repairs.
