Dear Editor:

My name is Christopher Tai Fulcher and I am in the 6th grade at Fairfield Junior High.

I am a member of the Boy Scout Troop 668, I am writing in hopes that other boys will join our Troop.

It is fun to be in Boy Scouts. I earned four merit badges at the Trevor Rees Jones Scout Camp this summer. I have earned a total of 14 merit badges. I am now working to complete the rank of First- Class.

The scout program helps prepare Scouts for the future, to respect other people, to learn about a career, to follow rules, and to follow the Scout oath and Scout Law.

We also work on rank advancements; like Tenderfoot, Second-class, First Class, Star, Life, and Eagle.

Here is some information on our meetings:

When: Tuesdays, 7 p.m. Where: Scout Hut at The City Park. Who: boys ages 11-17 years old.
