The Mexia Chapter of Ducks Unlimited -- one of the largest in the nation -- will meet on Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Cowboy Club on Highway 14 south of Mexia.

The chapter will give away 100 firearms, and this year’s banquet will include raffle items, a silent auction and a live auction.

On the live auction, there is a guitar that has been autographed by George Strait, Blake Shelton, Mel Tillis and other stars.

Also, a terrific BBQ trailer will be raffled. One does not have to be present to win.

- $60 for a single; and $100 for a couple.

There will also be a special area for “Greenwings” (kids under age 17).

Ten of the guns will go to greenwings.
