Dew Volunteer Fire Department makes close to $3,700 with Chili Supper
Carl Clark dishes up a bowl of chili to Keith Missildine at the chili supper. The Dew Volunteer Fire Department made close to $3,700 Saturday, Jan. 21 with a Chili Supper. The department used 150 pounds of meat to feed the hungry people who came to eat and give to the fire department. The funds raised this past weekend added to the $8,500 grant from the Texas Forest Service will allow the department to purchace 11 new sets of protective gear for the department.
