Eagles, Panthers, Goats Tie For Lead In District

The Fairfield Eagles took an easy victory from Franklin Friday night, 53- 21, in a district round ball contest here.

The Eagles were paced by Eston Turner who sank 16 points, Bobby Daniel with 10 points, Tommy Casey and Norman Moore with 8 each. Turner got off to a good start and scored 15 of 16 points in the first half but could not find the range in the second period.
