Freestone County . . . Art league hosts painter
Guest artist, Ms. Pamela Eggebrecht of Waco will be painting an oil landscape scene with bluebonnets at Freestone County Art League meeting set for Saturday, Sept. 18.
Meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and run through lunch and will be held at the Church of Christ fellowship hall located at 1001 North 8th Ave. in Teague.
Ms. Eggebrecht has been painting for more than 30 years.
She is retired from 20 years of educating and is now teaching two painting classes and a crochet class for continuing education students at McLennan Community College in Waco.
Ms. Eggebrecht also works part time at Sylvan Learning Center and is a volunteer painting teacher at Sul Ross Senior Center, both in Waco.
Her mission statement is to pass on the passion of art to everyone who paints with her.
Those wishing to paint along with Ms. Eggebrecht at the meeting should bring paints, brushes, canvas and any other supplies you might need.
Refreshments will be served and the meeting is open to the public. Members are encouraged to bring guests.
