In a city budget story in the Sept. 2 edition of The Fairfield Recorder, it was incorrectly reported that Fairfield Emergency Medical Service requested $200,000 in funding.

Fairfield EMS requested $100,000 in city funding, the same amount it asked for a year ago.

The city funded $84,000 of the request in fiscal year 2009-10.

The Recorder regrets the error.
