(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

August 30

12:46 a.m.—Officer Gallegos and Cpl. Green to alarm at business. Officers found front door open with nothing missing.

3:05 a.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of loud music. Advised subject to turn down volume.

8:04 a.m.—Officer Frasier assisted two women with flat tire.

12:04 p.m.—Officer Matejowsky on vehicle parked in roadway.

3:45 p.m.—Officer Matejowsky on report of trash scattered in subject’s yard. Advised subject to pick up trash.

6:47 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of alarm sounding. All okay.

9 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of reckless driver. Department of Public Safety trooper jailed subject on driving while intoxicated charge.

11:57 p.m.—Officer Kindon on alarm sounding. Manager hit by mistake.

August 31

6:24 a.m.—Officer Frasier to vehicle broken down in roadway. Assisted in getting vehicle out of road.

10:52 a.m.—Officer Matejowsky on report of missing fuel from vehicle.

11:10 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of residence being burglarized.

5:56 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of a runaway. Located.

7:17 p.m.—Officer Kindon to meet a complainant.

11:47 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of subject flashing light in windows.

September 1

1:43 a.m.—Officer Kindon assisted Fairfield EMS.

3 a.m.—Officer Kindon to suspicious vehicle.

6:20 a.m.—Officer Tiner to suspicious vehicle.

8:45 a.m.—Officer Tiner arrested a subject on city warrants.

1:43 p.m.—Officer Tiner on report of verbal dispute.

7:50 p.m.—Officer Gallegos on report of wreck. Was in the county.

11 p.m.—Officer Gallegos and Cpl. Green on alarm at bank sounding. Was caused by weather.

September 2

12:53 a.m.—Cpl. Green to man who wanted his brother to move out of his house. Advised he could not make him because he lives there also.

1:40 p.m.—Officer Tiner arrested a subject on warrants.

September 3 11:38 a.m.—Officer Matejowsky on report of possible vehicle taken without permission.

1:18 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of oil slick on road. Texas Department of Transportation called to put cleaner on it.

6:25 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of suspicious subject.

7:55 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of vehicle broken down and needing assistance.

September 4

3:05 a.m.—Officer Kindon to open gate.

4 a.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of 9-1-1 hang-up. All okay.

8:54 a.m.—Officer Frasier to truck broken down in the road.

11:10 a.m.—Officer Frasier to meet a complainant.

9:06 p.m.—Officer Kindon assisted Fairfield EMS on medical emergency.

11:04 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of strange sounds coming from residence.

September 5

12:20 a.m.—Officer Gasaway stopped vehicle and found driver had too much to drink. Driver jailed on DWI charge.

11:50 a.m.—Officer Frasier to city park on subject drinking beer.

2 p.m.—Officer Frasier arrested subject for driving with invalid license.

2:09 p.m.—Sgt. Utsey on report of oversize load hitting traffic light at Oak Street.
