Fairfield Young Farmers holds its first annual bass fishing tournament Saturday, Sept. 11, in support of its college scholarship fund.

Tourney headquarters is Oak Cove Marina on Richland-Chambers Reservoir.

Gold Sponsor for the event is Fairfield VFW Post 5872.

Check-in starts at 5 a.m., launch time is the first safe light and weigh-in is 3 p.m.

The tourney is divided into two competitive flights.

Cost is $200 per team and includes tourney entry, meal, T-shirt, prize ticket and door prizes.

The tourney pays out 85 percent of proceeds. Payout is one spot for every five teams and one big bass prize for every 25 teams.
