Graveside services were held Monday at Fairfield Cemetery for Vera T. Harris, 91, formerly of Fairfield, who died Saturday in Wortham.

Mrs. Harris was born October 26, 1918 in Leon county to parents Benjamin Luther and Willa Lee Evans.

She was preceded in death by husband, Charles R. Harris, Jr.; daughter, Martha Ann Smith; two sisters; and two brothers.

Mrs. Harris is survived by grandchildren, Michele McCrary; Sherry Welch and Michael Spivey, all of Conroe; great-grandchildren, Shanna Stewart and Christopher Stewart; and great-great-grandchildren, Riley, Kamber, Brianna and Kennison Stewart.

Officiating the service was Terry Skinner.

Making arrangements was Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
