Freestone County 4-H is hosting its Rally Day, Saturday, Sept. 11, from 3-

p.m. at the Moody Reunion Fairgrounds in Fairfield.

Parents and kids will be able to learn what 4-H has to offer as well as play games.

Supper will be provided and participants should be prepared to get wet.

Parent and child sign up begins at 3 p.m.

The 4-H program is a nationwide community with more than 6.5 million kids learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills.

There are currently seven different 4-H clubs made up of 290 members in Freestone County.

The 4-H program offers many opportunities for kids to get involved in project areas such as fashion and design, food and nutrition, animals, shooting sports, photography, and many more.

Members are able to use these projects to learn responsibility, record keeping skills, leadership skills, the value of teamwork, plus many more life skills that will help them grow and develop into outstanding young people.
