METHODIST CHURCH
Union United Methodist Church is hosting its annual homecoming services Sept. 4 and 5.
A family and friends musical will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. On Sunday at 3 p.m., guest speaker Rev. Kennen Jackson, pastor of Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church in Palestine, will speak.
Providing music will be a homecoming choir directed by Minister Joshua Delaney and the Grant Chapel Choir.
Others appearing on the program are Rev. Elnora Nunnally, pastor of Jones Chapel United Methodist Church in Fairfield, Onedia Durham Bradford, Venterlene Henry McIlveen, Paula Manning Patterson, Revoydia Henry, Geraldine Manning, Countee Woodard, and Wesley Ratcliff. Host pastor is Regina Burns.
Location is on US Hwy 84 in the Butler Community.

Women of virtue, excellence and nobility of True Vine Doxa Center in Fairfield are hosting a women’s conference on Saturday, Sept. 11 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Conference them is “Naked and not ashamed,” with keynote speakers, Prophetess Terry Theall and First Lady Yvonne Rose.
Topics include: “Discover Your Nakedness” by First Lady Linda Scott, “Who Am I” by First Lady Christine Daniels, “Take Off the Mask” by Bishop Mable Berry, “So What” by First Lady Yvonne Rose, “I’m Naked, Now What” by Copastor Cynthia Green, “There’s Nothing Fake About It” by Co-pastor Lurna Cumby.
Men are invited to attend and there will be a teen session available as well.
Registration includes continental breakfast, lunch and a gift bag.
Conference host is Navlet Daniels.

FIRST UMC TEAGUE
First United Methodist Church in Teague is hosting their annual “All Aboard” Sunday on Sept. 12.
Worship services will be held at 8:45 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday school will be held at 9:45 a.m.
Church-wide lunch will be provided. There will be a homemade ice cream contest and a best decorated booth contest.
An inflatable water slide and other children’s activities will be available.
