ANNOUNCED

Marine Cpl. Donnie Wayne and wife Whitley Danelle (Minter) Morris have announced the birth of their daughter Hadley Ryan, born July 3, 2010 in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

The newborn weighed eight pounds, four ounces and was 20 1/4 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Debbie Hendon Morris and the late Donnie LaWayne Morris of Midlothian. Maternal grandparents are Mrs. Rhonda Louann Mears and Rusty Wayne and wife Wintress (Reed) of Midlothian.

Paternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William Michael "Mickey" (Glenda English) Hendon of Dew and Waxahachie, Mr. and Mrs. George Boyd (Mary Catheryne Lee) Hendon of Teague and Mr. and Mrs. Arlen Dale "Nig" (Virginia Leland Beazley) English of Dew.

Maternal great-grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. David (Linda) Dodd and Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Charla) Minter of Midlothian, Mrs. Judy Nix of Grapeland and the late Johnny Lee Mears, and Mrs. Susan Moser of Dallas. Great-great-grandparents are Mrs. Helen Garrett of Midlothian, Mr. and Mrs. James (Elinor) Gremillion of Dallas, and Huett Bruce and the late Louise (Currie) Bruce of Grapeland.

Cpl. Morris is serving with the Marines in Afghanistan while Mrs. Morris and Hadley return to Waxahachie and Midlothian to live until his return.

Wednesday - Chicken spaghetti, sliced carrots, garden salad

Thursday - Grilled cheese sandwich, homemade chili, honey glazed carrots

Friday - Hamburger, sandwich trimmings, baked fries, ice cream
