Guest speakers include David Ranson of Cornerstone Full Gospel Church of Fairfield, Sept. 3 at 7 p.m.; Curly and Melinda Scott of Pillar of Truth Church International of Plano, Sept. 4 at 4 p.m.;

Vernon Tubbs of 1st Full Gospel Baptist Church Family of Beaumont, Sept. 5 at 4 p.m.

Minister of ceremonies is Pastor Flora L. Cobb and Christian Teaching Center of Tyler.

Special guests include Mary Penrice of “In Your Face Ministry”, Christopher Bolden, Minister Doris Huggins of Lakewood Church, Ella Colemen, and Katherine Coleman of “The Walls Came Tumbling Down Ministry” of Houston. Location is New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 449 North Moody St, Oakwood. Pastor Rev. Clyde Mathews, Jr. and congregation invite the community to attend.

First United Methodist Church in Fairfield is having a round up on Aug. 29.

Combined worship begins at 11 a.m. to be followed by a potluck dinner.

FUMC MEXIA

First United Methodist Church in Mexia is hosting Living Proof Simulcast message and worship Sept. 18 at no charge for area women.

The event features teacher Beth Moore and worship leader Travis Cottrell via simulcast from Chicago from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
