4-H Clubs reception is set Saturday

The Freestone county 4- H Club reception and celebration is set for 6:30 p.m. Saturday in the Fairfield elementary school cafeteria.

The event recognizes the accomplishments of 4-H members over the past year and honors adult leaders and supporters of the Texas Agrilife Extension program.

Top awards are the Gold Star, Silver Star, Bronze Star and Danforth “I Dare You.”

The 4-H Gold Star is the highest award a 4-H member can receive at the county level.

Finger foods will be served during the reception and a dance is set after awards are presented.
