FHS spikers start 2-a-days

Lady Eagles 2-a-day volleyball practices started Monday morning and the teams host a scrimmage this Saturday. A total of 45 girls reported for 2-a-day practices Monday morning with the Fairfield high school Lady Eagles volleyball teams.

The Lady Eagles are in a rebuilding year with only one returning starter on the varsity squad.

Practices this week are from 8-11 a.m. and 12:30- 2:30 p.m. at Johnson Activity Center.

Fairfield spikers scrimmage Centerville and Klien Forest this Friday at Centerville.

The Lady Eagles host Cayuga, Buffalo and Alpha Omega Academy of Huntsville in scrimmages this Saturday. start at 9 a.m. and feature varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams.

Varsity spikers play in the maroon gymnasium and junior varsity are in the gold gymnasium, both in Johnson Activity Center, and freshmen square off in the FHS south gymnasium.

The Lady Eagles are under the direction of head coach Dennis Johnson.
