Recorder Graveside services where held Sunday at Greenwood Cemetery in Teague for Sonny Jones, 67, who died Friday, July 30 at his house in Teague. Re cor der C la ssifieds...He was born in Houston to Alvie, Sr. and Pauline Jones on Dec. 19, 1942.

Mr. Jones served his country in Vietnam as member of the air force.

He later worked for the Pasadena Independent School District for many years.

Mr. Jones enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Pilar Jones of Teague; daughters, Alisa Ann Jones of Dallas; a twin sister, Pie Swisk of Teague;

Sister, Beverly Tillman of Teague; three nieces, Leah Stansbury and husband Stacy of Teague, Leslie Minzenmayer of Mississippi and Lynn Class ifi eds...Dowdy and husband Robert of Houston; nephew, Lee Tillman & wife Ty of Spracanger, Norway; step-daughter, Liliana Yniesta of Mexico City;

Grandsons, Victor and Santiago Salazar of Mexico City; great niece, Shelby Stansbury of Teague; great nephews, Travis Spriggs of Teague, Joseph Cook of Mississippi, Dawson Dowdy of Houston and Trace Tillman of Norway as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Mexico City and Baltimore.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Barbara de Los Reyes.
