Train ride takes wild west theme
Texas State Railroad is holding a Wild West Dinner Train next Saturday, August 7.
The evening train excursion includes a 3-course meal, candlelight setting, and entertainment.
Dinner entrée options include Marinated Cider Ribeye Steak or Southwest Avocado Chicken Breast paired with complimentary side dishes.
Dessert options are Bessie’s Buttermilk Chess Pie or Gold Miner’s Mud Pie to be served with coffee on the return trip from the Mewshaw Siding. Guests may bring one bottle of wine to enjoy with the meal. lot of fun,” says marketing manager Lori Pennington.

Champagne Reception and Wild West entertainment begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Palestine Depot and the dinner train will depart at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets are $89.00 per person for ages 21 and over.
