FSB Travelers see Ft. Worth musical

Members and friends of FSB Travelers spent Saturday in Ft. Worth where they had lunch at Reata Restaurant and attended the musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Bass Performance Hall.

Reata is located in Sundance Square and offers a menu for lunch before the entertainment sponsored by Casa Manana.

Joseph...Dreamcoat is a musical which tells the biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors. “The talent of all of the characters including a children’s chorus made the performance well worth the trip. Perhaps the most eye-catching and breathtaking moment of the performance was when an Elvis-type Pharoah first came on stage,” says trip coordinator Jerri McBay.

Travelers who made the trip were Neennah German of Thornton and her aunt Ruth Waggoner from Burnet;

Michele Gonzales and Pam Hancock of Teague, Glenda Nelson of Mexia; Christine Kelly of Kosse; Mrs. Nelson’s grandchildren Lacey and Dalton Longenbaugh, Ann Alewine, Annette Brannan, Joy Budde, Dan and Linda Collins, JoEleene McLelland and Frances Payne of Groesbeck;

Melinda Black, Barbara Bonner, Doris Casey, Loy Newberry, Ed and Alicia Smith, Dell Terry, and Dee Younger from Fairfield; Charlsie Stirton, Helen Oakes, Kathy Rhea of Donie; and Mozelle Mayes of Coolidge.

Travel coordinator is Jerri McBay of Fairfield.
