Projected completion date for the City of Fairfield's new website is next month, says Fairfield community development director Liz Thornton.

"We are working on the renovation and filming a video," Mrs. Thornton says.

The website is directed at its primary audience, the citizens of Fairfield, and its secondary audience, potential retailers and residents.

"We are organizing to best meet these needs," Mrs. Thornton points out.

The new website is not just a bulletin board for information, she notes, but will include changing pictures, names and contact numbers of organizations, pictures of city officials, a calendar of events, and links to available properties, as well as a video depicting the best Fairfield has to offer.

"It takes a lot of time and effort to meet those target audiences," Mrs. Thornton offers, "But we should be up and running sometime next month."
