Navarro College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will sponsor a free workshop on How to Start a Small Business on Tuesday, August 10, from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., at the Corsicana/Navarro County Chamber of Commerce, 120 N. 12th Street, Corsicana.

This workshop is free but pre-registration is required, as seating is limited.

Navarro College SBDC will present the workshop and will introduce attendees to the “nuts and bolts” of starting their own small business.

Attendees will explore the feasibility of their business ideas and learn the basics of registering a business, choosing a legal form of business ownership, filing proper permits and licenses, and evaluating financial options.

Navarro College SBDC is a partnership program with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
