MARIE CADRO Funeral services for Mrs. (Bevy) Marie Johnson Cadro, 93, were held July 18 at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Calvin Prowell officiated. Interment followed the services at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Cadro passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010, in Temple.

She was born in the Fallon Community of Limestone County on December 4, 1916, to Mampha Loretta Sims and Alvin Johnson and after her mother's death in 1920, she was raised by her father and stepmother, Lora Manning Johnson.

Mrs. Cadro was a loving Christian wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a devoted Bible class teacher and member of the Teague Church of Christ for over sixty years and recently a member of the Avenue T Church of Christ in Temple.

She is survived by one daughter, Loretta Marks and husband Bobby of Temple; daughter-in-law, Susan Cadro of Metairie, LA; four granddaughters, Deidra Greenwell and husband Steve of Houston, Rebecca Pourciau and husband Jason of Denham Springs, LA, Stephanie Cadro and fiancé Jeremy Pinner of Hammond, LA, and Kristy Ames and husband John of Odessa; two grandsons, Ricky Marks and wife Shea of Camp Verde, TX, and Todd Marks and wife Ginna of Medina; great-grandchildren, Lacey Youngblood- Hernandez and husband Rick of Yuba City, CA, Taylor Marks of Waco, Hunter Marks and Mallory Marks both of Medina; and Shelby of Camp Verde; one nephew, Bill Bowman and wife Jan of Tulsa, OK; special lifelong friends, Elizabeth Yarborough of Waco and Jean Terry of Teague.

Mrs. Cadro was preceded in death by her devoted and loving husband, Ernest J. Cadro, Sr.; loving son, Ernest J. Cadro, Jr.; sister, Vergie Bowman; and her parents.
