BETTY FAIRLY HUFFMAN Huffman

Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Fairly Huffman, 81, were held July 19 at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Rev. Jason Huffman officiated. Interment followed the services at Union Cemetery.

Mrs. Huffman passed away on Thursday, July 15, 2010, at her residence in Donie.

Betty Fairly Huffman was born July 16, 1928 in Teague to James Hugh Fairly and Emma Davis Fairly. She grew up in Teague and graduated from Teague high school with the class of 1935. She married Troy Huffman and lived in Pasadena until Mr. Huffman's retirement, then moved to Donie in 1991. Mrs. Huffman was a very devoted wife and homemaker. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Teague and she loved her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.

She is survived by her sons, Denny Huffman and wife Darlene of LaPorte and Steven D. Huffman of Donie; a daughter, Donna Huffman Bell and husband Don of Pasadena; grandchildren, Brian Bell, Jessica Bell Sitka, and Alycia Miller; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn Sitka, Kaleb Sitka, Kameron Sitka and Layla Miller; brothers, James Hugh Fairly, Jr. and wife Jean of Pasadena and Gary Fairly and wife Martha of Hemphill; a sister, Patsy Neal and husband Buddy of Mesquite; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Huffman was preceded in death by her hus- her grandson, David Bell.
