(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

July 12

1:45 a.m.—-Officer Frasier assisted Teague PD in the City of Fairfield with a possible intoxicated driver.

10:45 a.m.—-Officers assisted with a funeral escort from Capps.

8:31 p.m.—-Officer Markham attempted to locate an oversized load that pulled down cable wire on East Main.

9:59 p.m.—-Officer Markham was dispatched to Shady Oaks in reference to loud music.

July 13

1:49 a.m.—-Officer Markham responded to an alarm call at a local business. Key holder was notified.

4:16 a.m.—-Officer Markham responded to a broken front door glass at a local business.

4:55 p.m.—-Officer Matejowsky, Gallegos and Cpl. Green on minor wreck.

7:35 p.m.—-Officer Markham on report of someone messing with other subject’s vehicle.

8:08 p.m.—-Officer Markham to PD to meet a complainant.

9:15 p.m.—-Officer Markham on report of vehicles blocking drive at local business.

10:40 p.m.—-Officer Markham on report of loud music, unable to locate source.

July 14

2:05 a.m.—-Officer Markham in parking lot before store hours, subject was resting before driving farther.

10:30 a.m.—-Officer Kindon, Gasaway, Sgt. Utsey assist on funeral escort.

12:22 p.m.—-Officer Kindon to meet a complainant.

2:00 p.m.—-Officer Gasaway on report of someone trying to get in residence. All was OK.

2:39 p.m.—-Officer Gasaway to the PD to meet a complainant.

July 15

12:10 a.m.—-Officer Frasier stops vehicle on traffic violations, driver arrested for DWI.

2:15 a.m.—-Officer Frasier to speak to a complainant.

11:03 a.m.—-Officer Kindon met with complainant in reference to burglary of a building.

7:04 p.m.—-Officer Frasier met with complainant in reference to a civil issue.

10:30 p.m.—-Officer Frasier was dispatched to W. Hwy. 84 in reference to unwanted subject.

July 16

3:43 a.m.—-Officer Frasier was dispatched to ETMC in reference to an intoxicated person ETMC was able to take care of the subject.

5:40 p.m.—-Officer Markham was dispatched to East 84 in reference to a reckless driver.

9:27 p.m.—-Officer Tiner arrested subject for fail to identify to a peace officer by giving fictitious information.

9:50 p.m.—-Officer Markham and Sgt. Warren responded to a suspicious person call on St. Church.

July 17

5:47 a.m.—-Officer Matejowsky and Officer Gallegos were dispatched to an alarm at Daniels Exxon.

2:35 p.m.—-Cpl. Green conducted a traffic stop in the Valero parking lot. Subject was arrested for fail to identify by giving false identifying information to a police officer.

7:52 p.m.—-Officer Markham on report of alarm going off.

9:20 p.m.—-Officer Markham and Tiner on report of dispute at residence. One subject jailed.

July 18

3:23 a.m.—-Officers responded to truck stop on report of shoplifting, one subject arrested for unlawful carrying of a firearm.

1:32 p.m.—-Cpl. Green on report of alarm going off.
