A Fairfield business that will be three years old next month, XTreme Tans, recently moved to a downtown location.

XTreme relocated to 225 E. Commerce Street, renting space from One Sprit Day Spa.

The business is owned by brother and sister Julie and Jeff Hale.

Reason for the move several blocks west is for better visibility in the courthouse square area, Miss Hale says.

The tanning business also complements One Spirit offerings of hair styling, cosmetology, skin care and massage.

Miss Hale points out that XTreme Tan customers can get a tan or make regular visits to prolong a tan.

The business also has expanded to offer a selection of women’s clothing and home accessories, along with tanning products.

Working at XTreme Tan are Haley Plemons, Sally Taylor, Aleesha Jacob, Ashley Whatley and Amanda Trull.

Staffing One Spirit are owner and licensed massage therapist Sharon Hagen, skin care and hair specialist Jean Ann Tidrow, nail technician Olga Evans and cosmetologist Amy Mullen.
