(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

July 5

9:41 a.m.—Officer Gasaway and Sgt. Utsey to report of subjects in residence screaming. When officers arrived all was okay. Subjects had already left.

10:10 a.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of missing dog.

1:51 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of reckless driver.

2:15 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of counterfeit check.

4:37 p.m.—Officer Gasaway to police department to meet a complainant.

4:48 p.m.—Officer Gasaway to found property. The property was from a residence that was burglarized.

5:40 p.m.—Officer Frasier to police department to meet a complainant.

6:33 p.m.—Officer Frasier to residence that had been burglarized.

11:05 p.m.—Officer Frasier to follow-up on dog theft.

July 6

7:55 a.m.—Officer Gasaway assisted with loose animals in the roadway.

1:28 p.m.—Officer Gasaway met with a complainant at the police department in reference to a civil matter.

6:40 p.m.—Officer Frasier met with complainant in reference to completing a voluntary statement.

July 7

12:55 a.m.—Officer Frasier observed an open gate at Performance Ford. A keyholder was notified.

3:32 a.m.—Officer Frasier assisted with an unruly subject at East Texas Medical Center.

9:48 a.m.—Officer Matejowsky responded to a suspicious person call on Mount Street.

11:48 p.m.—Officer Markham dispatched to a reckless driver on Fairway.

July 8

3:43 a.m.—Officer Markham dispatched to E. Reunion Street in reference to a possible intoxicated subject. Subject was identified and arrested on drug charges.

7:25 a.m.—Officer Matejowsky was dispatched to E. Reunion in reference to a burglary.

11:04 a.m.—Officers dispatched to west U.S. 84 at Eddie’s Autobody and Tire in reference to a 3-car wreck.

2:40 p.m.—Officers Matejowsky and Gallegos assisted with a funeral escort.

July 9

12:24 a.m.—Officer Markham assisted a disabled motorist. Subject was changing a tire.

7:45 a.m.—Officer Gasaway on report of reckless driver.

10:40 a.m.—Officer Kindon on 9-1-1 hang-up.

12:06 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on welfare concern. All was okay.

4:52 p.m.—Officers Gasaway and Kindon assisted Department of Public Safety troopers with a large crowd at the emergency room.

5:50 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of panhandler at gas station.

6:45 p.m.—Officer Frasier on report of missing property.

11:31 p.m.—Officer Frasier and Sgt. Utsey to D&R Club on report of subject going to start a fight.

July 10

12:11 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of drunk driver. DPS trooper located and jailed.

3:03 a.m.—Officer Frasier assisted Teague police in transporting subject after they had vehicle trouble.

3:56 a.m.—Officer Frasier on report of alarm sounding.

5:40 a.m.—Officer Kindon on report of vehicle parked in the roadway. Got vehicle moved.

10:43 a.m.—Officer Kindon on report of a burglary.

11:16 a.m.—Officer Kindon assisted DPS in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run.

11:52 a.m.—Officer Kindon on alarm sounding. All okay.

2:54 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of rock being thrown through winon dow.

5:21 p.m.—Officer Kindon on report of loud music. Advised to turn down volume.

7:56 p.m.—Officer Frasier to police department to meet a complainant.

9:24 p.m.—Officer Frasier and Sgt. Utsey on report of building being burglarized.

July 11

1:26 a.m.—Officer Frasier arrested subject on DWI charge.

1:21 p.m.—Officer Gasaway met with complainant in reference to a burglary of a motor vehicle.

4:12 p.m.—Officer Kindon arrested a subject on outstanding warrants.

5:55 p.m.—Officer Frasier spoke with a complainant in reference to telephone harassment.
