Youth basketball players can sharpen their fundamentals and learn new skills at the Fairfield Boys’ Hoop Camp next week.

The camp runs Monday- Thursday from 8:30 a.m.- noon each day.

Players must be at least seven years old and no older than incoming freshmen students.

Camp director is Fairfield Eagles head basketball coach Joey Worley.

Instruction will be on basketball fundamentals of dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and defense.

There will be mass drills, individual station work and daily competitions.

A concession stand will be open for the camp.

Each participant receives a T-shirt and basketball, and is eligible to win door prizes awarded Thursday, July 8.

Cost of the camp is $50 if registered by July 4 and $60 thereafter.
