KRYSTAL COLLINS AND BRETT DUKE Paul and Jacqueline Collins of Wortham have announced the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Krystal Collins to Brett McLain Duke of Kirvin.

Duke is the son of Mark and Reba Duke of Kirvin and Kenny and Sharon Speering of Fairfield. He is a 2004 graduate of Wortham high school and attended UTI.

He is owner of Freestone Diesel Performance in Kirvin.

Miss Collins is a 2003 graduate of Wortham high school. She earned her degree from Sam Houston State University in 2006 and is a kindergarten teacher in Mexia.

The couple will exchange vows Aug. 7 at First United Methodist Church at 6 p.m. with a reception following the ceremony. Family and friends are invited to attend.
