Fairfield city and Freestone county will observe different holidays for the Fourth of July.

County offices and the Mary Moody Northen Library plan to close on Friday and city offices are closed Monday.

Post offices will close Monday for the holiday.

The city and Fairfield chamber of commerce team up to present a fireworks display Sunday evening at W.L. Moody Reunion Grounds.
