(A summary of recent activity of Fairfield Police Department.)

June 14

7:28 a.m.—Cpl. Green responded to an alarm at Flint Energy.

10:03 a.m.—Officer Markham and Sgt. Warren responded to a motor vehicle accident on the interstate.

12:20 p.m.—Cpl. Green met with complainant in reference to credit card abuse.

5:30 p.m.—All officers assisted with the county fair parade.

8:26 p.m.—Officer Gallegos responded to a motor vehicle accident on Heather Street involving two vehicles where one left the scene without providing the proper information when involved in an accident.

June 15

12:36 a.m.—Officer Tiner responded to a possible fight at Love’s Travel Center. All parties had left prior to his arrival.

12:10 p.m.—Officer Markham on report of minor wreck.

2:20 p.m.—Cpl. Green to police department to meet a complainant.

3:20 p.m.—Officer Markham to police department to meet a complainant.

9:20 p.m.—Officers Tiner and Gallegos on report of drunk subject at restaurant drive through. Gone on arrival.

June 16

1:09 a.m.—Officers Tiner and Gallegos on report of vehicle on car lot with light blinking. All okay.

3:28 a.m.—Officers Tiner and Gallegos on report of subjects in park being loud. Advised to go to bed.

10:15 a.m.—Officers Kindon and Gasaway on vehicle broken down in the roadway. Officers pushed out of the road.

11:18 a.m.—Officers Gasaway and Kindon and Sgt. Utsey on report of subjects selling cameras out of a vehicle. Located and subjects had a receipt where they had purchased the cameras.

2:42 p.m.—Officer Gasaway on stranded motorist.

3:50 p.m.—Officer Kindon on gas drive-off.

4:32 p.m.—Officer Gasaway to motel on report of missing property.

8:15 p.m.—Officers Matejowsky and Frasier to stranded motorist.

8:25 p.m.—Officers Frasier and Matejowsky arrested subject on public intoxication charge.

June 17

3 p.m.—Officer Gasaway met with complainant in reference to credit card abuse.

4:22 p.m.—Officer Gasaway and Sgt. Warren dispatched to McDonald’s restaurant on an unwanted subject.

5:35 p.m.—Officer Frasier dispatched to Dollar General in reference to a money scam.

9:40 p.m.—Officers Gallegos and Tiner and Sgt. Warren detained three subjects at the fairgrounds on alcohol related charges. One subject attempted to flee on foot but was unsuccessful. All three subjects were arrested.

June 18

3:08 a.m.—Officer Frasier assisted a driver of an 18-wheeler that was having problems backing his rig and was blocking the roadway.

1:01 p.m.—Officers Matejowsky and Gallegos investigated a gas drive-off.

5:56 p.m.—Officer Tiner assisted at a minor motor vehicle accident at Rob’s Drive-In.

8:15 p.m.—Officer Tiner tested his cowboy skills with a loose cow on FCR 606.

June 19 12:16 a.m.—Officer Tiner and Sgt. Warren responded to a domestic call. One subject arrested on assault/family violence charge.

3:45 a.m.—Officer Tiner assisted a resident with an unwanted subject.

1:49 p.m.—Officers Gallegos and Matejowsky responded to a motor vehicle accident on W. Commerce Street.

3:30 p.m.—Cpl. Green assisted a subject with a medical condition.

9:09 p.m.—Officer Tiner and Sgt. Warren assisted with a loose horse on the interstate.

11:38 p.m.—Officer Tiner dispatched to the fairgrounds in reference to a suspicious person.

July 20

1:32 a.m.—Officer Tiner met with a complainant in reference to an assault.

10:45 a.m.—Cpl. Green to police department to meet a complainant.

1:24 p.m.—Officers Gallegos and Matejowsky assisted a deputy sheriff in locating a vehicle involved in an aggravated assault.

5:50 p.m.—Officer Tiner on report to meet a complainant at a business that had been assaulted.

7:47 p.m.—Officer Tiner on alarm sounding at business. All okay.

8:34 p.m.—Officer Tiner on a reported assault. After investigation, it was found no assault took place.
